The 6th graders were responsible for generating questions and conducting interviews from the flood victims. Knowing that many people were affected by the flood, we decided to focus on two factors: big business and land owners. We interviewed Deanne Gerking who is the secretary at EnTire Recycling Inc. near Rock Port, MO, and Jeff Oestmann who is a land owner/ farmer. Both were greatly impacted by the floods.
